On Friday October 24th 2003
John L. Perko (BTBone) (seated on right) died unexpectantly
John developed the "Men In Black" theme, he gave all the members of our group a nickname for various reasons.
John was a inspiration to all that knew him, he gave all his heart in everything he did
No one will be able to fill the shoes of John
but as far as the Blackhawk Band Pit Crew is concerned
the
"Men In Black"
will go on with the direction that John wanted and strived for!
John we will always follow your lead
"Because we know you are watching"
This Picture was taken (at Raleigh) the day after John suddenly died
