Who are the Boosters?
If you have a child in the Band or Guard you are a Booster. The Boosters support the Band by supplying volunteers and raising money through fundraising.
Volunteering is the most important role we have as Boosters. You will get to know the students and other parents and find a community of hard working, fun loving, and dedicated people to be with. Come get involved! If you are the parent of a freshman or an 8th Grader you have four, possibly five, wonderful years to look forward to and you won’t want to miss a moment. If you are the parent of an older student, come to see what it’s all about. Either way, you will be amazed! Our band program could not function without the dedication and sacrifices of all our volunteers. Volunteers are needed in all areas. Parents of all students are expected to participate in volunteer activities throughout the school year. Parents of Marching Band students are expected to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours.
The Booster meetings are open to all Band parents and are held in the band room every 3rd Monday of the month starting at 7:00 PM. Any changes will be posted on the band’s website or posted on the Band’s Facebook Group page.
The Band Boosters need to make sure that addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of each band and guard member is up to date. Parents, if you have any changes in your contact information, please let the Boosters know at mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org.
